Water Project: Pilbara Minerals (Marble Bar WA)
In 2018, Cape undertook water infrastructure works for Pilbara Minerals at its Pilgangoora Lithium-Tantalum Project. Our team continues to provide assistance with the removal, installation and adhoc management of its dewatering bore infrastructure.
The original scope of work included the provision of pipelines, earthworks, telemetry control system, submersible bore pump packages and a transfer pumping station package at the mine site to enable a fully functioning water pipeline system, including:
- 16.5km of DN250 pipeline and pumping system from the Southern Borefield to the Process Plant raw water tank TK020.
- 1.5km of DN280 pipeline and pumping system from Turkeys Nest 1 to the Process Plant raw water tank TK020.
- 2.5km of DN250 pipeline and pumping system from Bore 50 to Process Plant raw water tank TK020.
- 2.3km of DN160 pipeline and pumping system from new Bore 6 & 7 to Turkeys nest
- 1.5km of DN200 pipeline and pumping system from new Bore 1 to Bore 2
