HDD Drilling Project: Fortescue Metals Group (Solomon Hub, Pilbara WA)

• Delivered the first horizontal dewatering wells constructed in Australia for a major open pit mine.
• Successfully drilled two horizontal wells to 938m and 1,200m measured depth (MD).
• Installed oilfield-style electric submersible pumps achieving a sustained output of 250L/s.
• Used innovative horizontal drilling to eliminate the need for in-pit vertical dewatering infrastructure.
• Improved safety by reducing in-pit activities and enhanced mine efficiency through well placement.
