Power Project: BHP Billiton & Theiss (Newman WA)

The project was located approximately 39km east of Newman and involved detailed earthworks, trenching, bedding, and backfilling of underground services as well as the installation of electrical and communications infrastructure. The scope included:

• 206,000 bcm of detailed earthworks
• 41km of Raw Water and Portable Water Pipelines
• 4km Oily Water pipelines
• 2km of Slurry Pipeline
• 2.4km of sewerage rising main
• 2km of gravity sewer
• 41.5km Electrical & Communications conduit
• 25.5km HV & LV cable
• 4 x RMUs
• 10 x Transformers
• 360 x cable markers blocks
• Construction of light pole footings
• 430 x Traffic Bollards
