Communications Project: Telstra (Onslow WA)

Cape installed a fibre optic cable from the existing Telstra network to the Chevron LNG Plant in Onslow. The works included:

• Installation of 5595m of conduit
• 5595m of fibre optic cable hauling through the conduit
• Installation of 7 concrete 8 pits

The project was challenging in nature due to the extremely swampy ground conditions which required extensive engineering and specialist low ground pressure machines to complete the project within the required time frame.
